Footbridge FOR SALE
The bridge was built for the LDDC to allow
pedestrian access between Canary Wharf and Heron Quay, whilst work on the Jubilee
Line extension was taking place. With this work completed the bridge is now offered
for sale.
The total span of the bridge is 58 metres, consisting of two main fixed sections supported
on three floating pontoons. The two end sections are hinged to allow a "draw bridge
" lift to operate. Whilst the bridge was designed for its former location, it can be
easily adapted for other situations.
